Vion Food directs developments by introducing continuous improvements and collaboration throughout the entire agri-food supply chain, and constantly seeks the right balance between people, planet and profit. The focus is on ensuring that the living environment is qualitatively better for people and animals.

This means that the Vion Food production processes are organised as effectively as possible and that the means of production are optimally utilised. All of this contributes to creating the lowest possible ecological footprint.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is embedded throughout the organisation and is an important part of Vion Food’s daily operations. There are five core themes: agriculture, communities, environment, nutrition & health, and people. Vion Food uses these themes to classify its activities using the CSR approach. In line with these themes, Vion Food actively contributes to social issues with respect to public health, animal health, animal welfare and the environment.
