Sustainability
Since 2017, Vion has published an annually on its sustainability developments. This report is tangible evidence of our commitment to the key themes within the European meat industry.
In 2025, we reported for the first time on Environment Social Government (ESG) developments in the annual report for the year 2024. This means that we no longer publish a separate sustainability report, but instead align our ESG performance more closely with our financial results. It also means that sustainability is integrated into the company’s key decision-making processes.
This development demonstrates Vion’s preparation for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will apply to the company from the reporting year 2027 onwards. With this report, Vion once again affirms its role as a forward-thinking, values-driven leader in the sector.
